They’re back! On tap are 37 garage sales in town Saturday

    Something definitely missed last year for those local bargain-hunters were garage sales.
    Even though a few garage sales were held here and there in 2020, COVID-19 concerns  cancelled last year’s City-wide Garage Sales event.
    But, they’re back in 2021 and will happen this Saturday in Imperial. The advertised start time is 7 a.m.
    As the signup deadline arrived Monday, a full slate of 37 garage sale locations was finalized. That number eclipses the 26 sales in 2019.
    Most will be located at individual home addresses, but others will be headquartered at the community center,  the city park, Wellington gym and at the East 5th storage units. A number of families are joining together for one sale.

    On Friday night, additional printed maps will be available for free in front of The Imperial Republican office in the newspaper dispenser stand.
