Two bound over in drug case

Cases for two of the three men arrested in a methamphetamine investigation in early April were bound over to district court last week.
The cases of Jesus Acuna of Imperial and Russell Mann of Enders were forwarded to the district court following a preliminary hearing April 28.
Acuna is charged with possession of (meth) amphetamine 140+ grams, a Class 1B felony; conspiracy to commit a Class 1 felony, which is a Class II felony; and no drug tax stamp, a Class IV felony.         Mann is being held on two counts of possession of (meth) amphetamine (28-139 grams), Class 1C felonies; conspiracy to commit a Class 1 felony (Class II felony), and two counts of no drug tax stamp, Class IV felonies.
The third suspect charged, Jeffrey Lytle of Hamlet is charged with conspiracy to commit a Class 1 felony.
He contested his preliminary hearing so another hearing has been set for May 12.
