Death Notice: LaVeta Howard

    Longtime resident of the Palisade and Wauneta area passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney, Nebraska. LaVeta was 94 years of age.
    Survivors Include: sons, Darryl and wife, Ronda, of Wauneta, Dean and wife, Mary Jo, of Palisade, Jimmie and wife, Marilyn, of Hayes Center; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene Kier of Kansas.
    Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 24, 3 p.m. (MT) at the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Wauneta with Pastor Keith Wellman and Rev. Greg Stuckwisch officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta.
    Visitation will be held Friday, April 23, 2-6 p.m. (MT) at Liewer Funeral Home, Wauneta.
    Memorials, in LeVeta’s memory, have been suggested to the Howard Family for a future designation.
