Week of wins ups Legion juniors’ record to 6-1

Four wins in six days marked a week of wins for the Imperial Legion juniors.
Wins on the road came against Overton, Ogallala and Broken Bow before blanking Cozad 17-0 Sunday in their home opener.
After an earlier loss to Holdrege, the juniors are now 6-1 on the season as they head into the coming week’s action.
Two junior games were added to the schedule with Oshkosh, said Coach Bruce Peterson.
Imperial hosted Oshkosh Wednesday this week for a single junior game. The juniors will then travel to Oshkosh this Friday. First pitch in both games is 4 p.m.
On Monday, July 6, at home the juniors will kick off a double-header with Holdrege at 3:30 p.m., followed by the seniors.
A junior/senior double-header will take Imperial’s teams to Cozad Tuesday for 3:30/6 p.m. MT games.
The teams will be back home next Thursday, July 9, against Ogallala. Juniors start the double-header at 4:30 p.m.
