Record improves to 10-2 for JV girls

    Another pair of wins was notched onto the Chase County JV girls’ record last week with wins over Hershey and Haxtun, Colorado. Both games were in Imperial.
    The two wins pushed Chase County’s JV record to 10-2.
    In a two-quarter game against Haxtun Jan. 28, Chase County took a 28-10 win.
    Scoring for Chase County were Lucy Spady 8, Morgan Peterson 7, Giselle Acuna 5, Liz Reeves 4, Hope Brosius 2 and Ali McNair 2.

    Saturday night, Chase County hosted Hershey, where the JVs doubled Hershey in points for a 52-26 win.
    On the board for the Lady Longhorns were Acuna 16, Peterson 7, Kora Weiss 6, Spady 6, Reeves 6, McNair 5, Brosius 3 and Molly Spicer 3.

C game picks up win
    On Saturday, a three-quarter C game was also held with Hershey. Chase County captured a close 18-15 win.
    Chase County scorers were Reeves 7, Spady 4, Brosius 3, Spicer 2, McKenzie Vogt 1 and McNair 1.
