JV boys pick up another win versus So. Valley

The Longhorn JV boys’ team had a light week last week.
Due to low numbers from Perkins County, there was no JV game played last Thursday.
Another game was scheduled last Friday for the Longhorns to host Gothenburg. The games against the Swedes were postponed due to weather.
The lone game played by the JV boys was against Southern Valley on Jan. 14, which the Longhorns won, 33-13.
Kade Anderson led offensively with 11 points.
Brandon Mintling and Nikolas Rau followed with seven and six points, respectively.
Also scoring were Ryan Bernhardt, Jake German and Chase Rowley.

Coming up
With the SPVA tournament taking center stage this week for varsity, the JV team will get a breather.
Their next contest will be at home against Haxtun, Colorado on Tuesday with tip-off at 4 p.m.
