Murder suspects each face 11 felony charges

The two suspects arrested in the death of Annika Swanson, 22, face 11 felony charges, including first degree murder.
The murder count alleges Kevin German, 24, with an address listed as Colorado, Springs, Colorado, and Keonna Carter, 22, whose address is listed as Taylorsville, Utah, purposefully and deliberately killed Swanson after kidnapping her and administering a poison.
Counts II and III allege the use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony during the kidnapping and false imprisonment of Swanson and Eve Ambrosek, 20.
Counts IV and V charge both suspects with the kidnapping of Swanson and Ambrosek.
Counts VI and VII allege false imprisonment of Swanson and Ambrosek.
Counts VIII and IX charge the suspects with terroristic threats by intentionally terrorizing the victims.
The final two counts, X and XI, charge the suspects with third degree assault by intentionally or recklessly causing bodily injury to the two victims.
German and Carter were arrested in Fort Collins, Colorado and remain in custody there on a $1 million bond.
During Tuesday’s county commissioner meeting. Sheriff Kevin Mueller said they will have to be extradited back to Chase County.
Attorneys have already been appointed for the pair.
