Hairball bringing lights, fire, rock ‘n’ roll to fair
Hairball will be performing at the Chase County Fair on Friday, Aug. 16.
While some say Hairball is just a cover band, they’re actually more than that, according to band members.
Hairball started in 2000, when current lead guitarist “Happy” was performing in Atlanta with a professional wrestler/musician.
“Hairball kind of started as a joke and I didn’t really want any part of it,” he said.
Happy ended up adopting a boy from Atlanta and moved back to Minnesota for better schools.
“I thought I would do Hairball for awhile and make money until I could figure out something cool to do,” Happy said. “Hairball slowly morphed into the coolest thing that I’ve been a part of.”
