Grand opening for Lavender Market set for this Friday

Many hands have been working to get the new flower and gift shop, the Lavender Market, open for its grand opening Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Owner/manager Ronee Kruger said there will be refreshments during the day and door prizes drawn every hour to kick off the new business.
Kruger added that anyone who brings in the business opening ad in this week’s paper, will receive 25 percent off any one item. The same deal applies for a picture of the ad posted on Facebook.
Normal business hours will begin Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The store will carry modern, vintage, shabby chic, country and children’s gifts and decor items, said Kruger.
They will also have on hand candles, furniture items, plants and flowers with delivery available.
An additional service the store will be providing to the area is wedding consulting.
“Weddings can be a very stressful time. We want to provide a service to help organize weddings and make contacts for each and every element of this event. We will offer complete and total planning for all your wedding needs,” Kruger said.
There will be a staff of five working with Kruger.
They are Diane Kuenne, Claudette Swanson, Ady Hughes, Val Brush and Stephanie Rau.
