Death Notice: Robert W. Rolfe

Bob Rolfe died the morning of Aug. 10, 2018 at the age of 101.
As he wished, he passed in the peace and comfort of the home he built 45 years ago on the open prairie west of Champion.
Never regretting his choice to plant his roots in Chase County, it gave him great pleasure to plant the trees and shrubs that shelter and feed a wide array of native wildlife. As a birdwatcher, he was richly rewarded for those efforts.
Bob’s cremains will await his wife Ann’s for placement at a later date in the family plot at Crete Cemetery.
