Twenty-one compete at annual 4-H Silver Spurs horse show June 23

    The Silver Spurs 4-H Club held its annual 4-H horse show June 23 at the Chase County Fairgrounds in Imperial. Twenty-one exhibitors participated this year.  
    Tack, feed and other prizes were provided by donations from Overhead Door Specialists, Trent and Jody Spady; Frenchman Valley Coop; Rob-See-Co., Dave Oxford; Dan Kunnemann, Duane Dreiling and Silver Spurs’ parents.
    Judges for the day were Pam Cullen and Darin Knobbe.  The show’s High Point awards were presented at the end of the show to:
    Senior—Kaitlyn Kent of Holyoke, Colorado;
    Intermediate—Amber Gonzales of McCook;
    Junior II—Claudia Rhoades of Big Springs;
    Junior I – Wyatt Krausnick of Imperial.
    Exhibitors could participate in up to 10 events. Individual results were as follows:
