Imperial to be site of championship qualifying swim meet this Saturday

The Imperial Swim Team will be hosting the championship qualifying meet this Saturday starting at 8 a.m.
After the five regular season meets the team attends, the Plains Tsunami Swim League has a qualifying meet, where swimmers compete for a spot at the championship meet.
Coaches Kristi McNair and Kara Meeske have about 33 swimmers competing this summer.
Teams that will be competing in Imperial this weekend include Sutherland; St. Francis, Kansas; Perkins County; Benkelman; Atwood, Kansas; and Palisade.
The championship meet will be in Lexington on July 14.
