Seniors get hometown farewell

Eight seniors who play basketball and lead cheers were in the spotlight Saturday night during Senior Night recognition at Chase County Schools. The seniors and their parents were introduced between the girls’ and boys’ varsity games. Above, it was a bit melancholy for senior Lauren Gockley, who learned the past week her foot was broken, taking her out of further basketball action this season. She walks across the gym floor with parents Joel and Julie Gockley. Among the three senior boys recognized, below, was Jace Clevenger and his parents Kelly and Christine Clevenger. Other senior basketball players introduced were Kass Cochran, Jack Bauerle, Ragan Nickless, Andrea Page, Whitney Hopp, along with senior cheerleader Hayley Vitosh. (Johnson Publications photos)
