Imperial team pulls in first at firefighters’ dodgeball tournament

The Imperial Volunteer Fire Department (IVFD) team captured the championship in Saturday’s first ever Fireman Dodgeball Tournament in Madrid. Members of the IVFD team were, front from left, Fay Hiykel, Skip Kelley, Doug Wright, back from left, Jakob Burke, Aaron Greene, Todd Courter, Kelsey Weiss, Greg Dannatt and Wade Courter. A team from the Grant Volunteer Fire Department took second, while the hosting team, the Madrid Volunteer Fire Department, finished third. Venango’s VFD took home the “biggest loser” trophy.
