Frenchman Valley Coop donates $10,000 to area FFA chapters

    Frenchman Valley Coop, along with CoBank, has donated $10,000 to the Nebraska FFA Foundation to support local FFA programming.
    Imperial, Wauneta-Palisade, Kimball, Creek Valley, Perkins County, Dundy County, Hayes Center, McCook, Southwest, Hitchcock County and South Platte FFA chapters were all selected by Frenchman Valley Coop to receive funds in this special project.
    These chapters will use the donation toward leadership programming, community service projects and innovative projects in their classrooms.
    “Frenchman Valley Cooperative is glad to continue our support of our local FFA Chapters. Their activities extend beyond the traditional classroom reaching into developing leadership skills and building a foundation of discipline and dedication that remains in the students for a lifetime,” said John Bender of Frenchman Valley Coop.
    “Our cooperative and customer base is populated with former FFA members who have benefited from the FFA experience,” he said.  
    The mission of the Nebraska FFA Foundation is to enhance quality education/FFA programs in order to achieve excellence in leadership development, curriculum innovation and scholastic advancement of students.
    The mission of Frenchman Valley Farmers Cooperative is that Frenchman Valley Farmers Cooperative and subsidiaries exist for the sole purpose of improving the economic well-being of its farmer-rancher members by being a dependable and consistent source of agricultural inputs, markets and services.
