Three new employees join Harchelroad Motors

 There are three new faces at Harchelroad Motors in Imperial. They include Tonia Franklin, Shawna Rusher and Edgar Chavira.
    Tonia Franklin is the marketing, internet and human resources manager at Harchelroad Motors.
    Franklin graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor’s degree. Following that she received two Master’s degrees, one in organizational management with an emphasis on entrepreneurial development and the other in Human Resources. She received both Master’s degrees from Peru State College.
    Franklin lives in Wallace with her husband, Jason, and three children, Paige, age 10,  Colt, eight and Joe, five.
    She said they enjoy camping as a family and going to the lake. The rest of the time is spent keeping up with the kids’ activities.
    Shawna Rusher is the new finance and insurance manager at the dealership.
    She is a native of Imperial and received her finance degree from Chadron State College.
    Rusher and husband Jeff also own a landscaping business in Imperial. They have three children, Riley age 10; Hayley, nine and Eddie, seven.
    Edgar Chavira brings his bilingual skills to Harchelroads’ auto sales.
    He moved to Imperial four years ago from Georgia. Chavira is single but has family in the area.
    He enjoys horseback riding and roping, he said. Chavira also coached an Imperial soccer team last year and hopes to coach it again next summer.
