Bleachers installed, hoops going in for new gym

Workers were busy Tuesday installing the fourth of six basketball hoops in the new auxiliary gym addition at Chase County Schools. Pictured above from left, Louis Meeks, Derick Meeks and Nathan Yellowbear, who are working for the subcontractor Great Plains Flooring, were busy moving materials to be used above the backboard. The crew will also install the drop curtain that can divide the gym floor when needed. The bleachers were installed earlier this month. Pictured middle, a geometric gray, white and orange floor will greet patrons entering the facility from the east.
