Faculty Follies raises money for scholarships

Faculty and staff members at Chase County Schools held their “Faculty Follies” variety show last week to raise money to fund two $500 scholarships awarded to graduates by the Imperial Education Association. With admission, raffles and a silent auction, the event raised $1,200 with the extra $200 donated to the Nebraska Schools Education Association’s Children’s Fund. Among the acts were a spoof on cheerleading routines and a performance by the wannbe but never famous rock band. Cheerleaders, each with their unknown set of legs, included, from left, Michaela Ketter, Lisa Krutsinger and Mary Fortkamp. Band members shown included Kristin Schueler on the drums, Amanda Kimble at lead vocals and Teresa Shriver on the chords. (Johnson Publications photos)
