Einspahr family sees fourth generation pharmacy graduate

Terra Klima Hoffman marks a fourth generation to complete pharmacy school, taking part in the South Dakota State University (SDSU) hooding ceremony and graduation in Brookings, S.D. on May 5 and 6.

Hoffman graduated magna cum laude. She became very involved in the SDSU honors program, earning an honors medallion for completing extra classes and exceeding a 3.5 grade point average. She served as vice president and service committee chair of the Honors College Student Organization.
Other involvement included membership in Phi Lambda Sigma (a pharmacy leadership society), Kappa Psi (a pharmacy fraternity), APhA-ASP (American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists), Phi Lambda Phi honor society and the motar board honors society.
She served three years as an honors teaching assistant, was on the honors college dean advisory board and presented at three national honors conferences.
