Four-H music, public speaking earn ribbons
Sixteen 4-H members participated in the Chase County 4-H Public Speaking, Public Service Announcement (PSA) and Music Contests held April 2 at the Imperial United Methodist Church.
Spectators enjoyed a variety of performances, from vocal solos to prepared speeches. 4-H members competing ranged in age from five to 17.
Top scoring individuals in the PSA (public service announcement) and speech categories have the opportunity to compete at the West Central Regional 4-H Public Speaking and PSA contest in North Platte April 29.
