Soccer kicks off for another season in Imperial program

Schroeder Park was a busy place Saturday as the season’s first soccer games were played for pre-K to sixth grade teams. Ideal weather greeted the youths who will compete each Saturday at Schroeder Park through May 6. The junior high and high school-aged teams started their games earlier, and, in Imperial, are playing their home contests at the practice football field. Abby McNair is coordinating the Imperial soccer program, and said more than 250 youths are registered.
