CCS golf practice off to a cool start

Practice for the 2017 CCS golf season has been hampered by cool temperatures so far. On Monday afternoon, temperatures hovered in the low 40s, forcing golfers to bundle up. For Coach Larry Munger, that meant ear muffs and gloves. Here, Lauren Prior, left, and Jace Clevenger work on their short game during Monday's practice. The Longhorns will open the golf season at Bayard on April 4, weather permitting. The schedule includes eight varsity meets along with seven jayvee meets. (Johnson Publications photo)
