Shorthorns win two of three at Dundy County Stratton

    Chase County’s junior high boys’ team won two of three games at Dundy Co. Stratton last Thursday. And, in the only loss of the day, the Shorthorn C team lost by just a point. The A team from Chase County won with a 31-23 score. On the board for Chase County were Tell Richardson 10, Cedric Maxwell 8, Clay Meeske 6, Chase Rowley 4 and Brandon Mintling 3. Chase County’s B team brought home a 41-21 win.
    Chase County scorers were Ryan Bernhardt 9, Keenan Cole 9, Jake German 6, David Weiss 6, Tysen Lempke 5, Chance Lotspeich 4 and Mintling 2.

    In the C contest, just a point separated the teams as DC Stratton won the 16-15 game.
    Emmitt Zuege led Chase County on offense with 10. Also scoring were Jesse Krausnick 2, Morel Jurado 2 and Tristan Cochran 1.
