Phil, Betty Lou Harris to retire from Crossroads Wesleyan

Phil and Betty Lou Harris have kept their eyes on Imperial since 1992, the last six years up close and personal. The Executive Pastor of Crossroads Wesleyan Church of Imperial and his wife will be retiring to Colorado Springs, Colo. the end of April.
Harris, 72, was the District Superintendent of the Colorado-Nebraska District of the Wesleyan Church for 19 years. As such, he visited Imperial and other towns, which he came to know fairly well. He and Betty Lou have been impressed with the growth  Imperial has seen.
As a pastor at the church, he has also watched with interest as youths in the community have participated in sports, church and other activities. “I’ll miss seeing the children grow in the next few years,” he observed earlier this week.
