Hospital facility study in first phase
Two consultants spent much of last week interviewing hospital staff, department heads, medical staff and administration. The interviews represent the first phase in developing a master campus plan for Chase County Community Hospital.
Team manager Sommer Miller with The ERDMAN Company of Westminster, Colo., said they gathered some really good information, noting that the staff is excited about the study.
People were really candid in sharing what they felt the hospital needs facility-wise going forward, she said.
She said she saw lots of “positive energy” in a staff committed to serving their patients and the community.
She said they’ve offered practical approaches at serving the patients and seeing that the patients’ needs are met.
