Track season has been slow to get started at Wauneta-Palisade, according to Broncos’ Head Coach Dawn Doetker.
Lauren Prior of Imperial graduated in December from the University of Wyoming in Laramie with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a minor in management.

Country music singer Scotty McCreery, with a possible fifth No. 1 single on its way up the charts, will headline the Saturday, Aug. 13, grandstand show at the Chase County Fair. His latest album “Same Truck” already has a No. 1 single with the song “You Time.”
Headliners for this year’s concert series at the Chase County Fair can be considered music idols in their own rights.
Middle school students at Chase County Schools will be studying from new science and social studies textbooks in the 2022-23 year.
