The bridge to the north side of Champion Lake will be removed in the upcoming week. Repairs have been added to the decking to patch numerous holes. The project may last up to two weeks.

Work begins Monday on Champion Lake bridge

The road to Champion Lake’s north side will be closed beginning Monday as Chase County roads crews tear out the current bridge and replace it with culverts.

SCORE camp adventure begins

The theme for SCORE camp 2022 is “Adventure Science,” with 325 youths registered on Monday as SCORE camp kicked off for a week of science learning.
