Sen. Sasse mobile office comes to Imperial

Outreach Coordinator Matt Lukens of Sen. Ben Sasse’s office was in Imperial Tuesday.
As an Outreach Coordinator, Lukens filters questions and concerns to Sen. Sasse, as he travels to different locations across the state for mobile office hours.
“We have four main offices, Lincoln, Omaha, Kearney and Scottsbluff,” Lukens said. “Well, if you don’t live in those areas you don’t really get an opportunity unless you want to make that drive to get a face to face meeting with someone on the staff,” he said.
Lukens said Sasse’s staff wants to give everyone the opportunity to talk and express any concerns.
“That’s why we hold these mobile offices,” he said. “If anyone has concerns, wants him to vote a certain way, we will hear everything and pass all those concerns along to the senator,” he said.
