Two Final Four teams No. 1 seeds, UCLA the surprise

    Tracy Pribbeno and Jenna Schultz sit atop the standings in this year’s Imperial Republican Final Four bracketology contest.
    Each has accumulated 37 correct picks going into this weekend’s Final Four match ups.
    Three other contestants, Madelyn Clermont, Chandra Thayer and Chad Ostmeyer are just one point behind with 36 correct picks.
    It will all come down to their picks for the Final Four teams and who emerges as the champion Monday night.
    The Final Four teams include No. 1 seeds Gonzaga and  Baylor, No. 2 seed Houston and No. 11 seed UCLA.
    Gonzaga is looking to make history as they remain undefeated in the season. The last team to win the national championship with a perfect record was Indiana in 1975-76.
    The feat has only been achieved seven times, including four by UCLA—1972-73, 1971-72, 1966-67 and 1963-64, once by North Carolina in 1956-57 and San Francisco, 1955-56.
    Gonzaga will play double-digit seed UCLA who has come from the play-in bracket all the way to the Final Four.
    UCLA beat No. 11 seed Michigan State to get in the bracket of 64. Once in, they defeated No. 6 seed BYU, No. 14 seed Abilene Christian (who upset No. 3 seed Texas), No. 2 seed Alabama in overtime and No. 1 seed Michigan.
    Baylor will face off against Houston in the other Final Four match up Saturday. The national championship game will be Monday night.
