Tournament full of bracket-busting upsets

This year’s Imperial Republican Final Four bracketology contest remains tight after the first two rounds of play.
The tournament has seen its fair share of bracket-busting upsets during the round of 64 and round of 32.
Just how that will play out will be interesting in this year’s contest as the tournament begins Sweet 16 play.
The contest remains tight with three entrants tied for first with 31 points and three more with 30 points.
Madelyn Clermont, Donita Pribbeno and Tracy Pribbeno all have 31 points with Chandra Thayer, Jenna Schultz and Donna Werkele each with 30.
Four double-digits seeds made the Sweet 16 leaving a trail of upsets in its wake.
Perhaps the most surprising to become this year’s Cinderalla team is No. 15 seed Oral Roberts University in the Midwest bracket.
They took down No. 2 seed Ohio State in the opening round and followed that up with another upset of No. 7 Florida to get to the Sweet 16.
There they join other doule-digit seeds Oregon State, Syracuse and UCLA.
Nebraska’s Creighton University made the Sweet 16 but will now face the tournament’s overall No. 1 seed in Gonzaga, who remains undefeated.
Nebraska native Dana Altman, who previously coached at Creighton, has his No. 7 Oregon Ducks in the Sweet 16. They will face the No. 6 seed USC.
