Vocal trio will take stage at Christian Family Show

    Details are finalized for the Chase County Fair’s Christian Family Show Wednesday, Aug. 10, in the open air pavilion on the fairgrounds.
    The Girls Next Door, a female vocal trio from Kansas City, will be on stage for the free show at 7 p.m.
    Angie Larson, Barbara Walker and Jamie Malone make up the three voices in The Girls Next Door. Reviewers have touted their rich harmony.
    After sharing the stage at a local venue where they performed together for more than 10 years, their individual solo strengths organically grew to become a powerhouse trio.
    In addition to presenting some of the music of their favorite country artists from the 80s and 90s, The Girls Next Door enjoy the opportunity to share some of their most-loved southern gospel songs and hymns they’ve been singing since they were young.
    While they aren’t related by blood, Larson, Walker and Malone present a family harmony sound that has created a unique bond among them that is apparent each time their voices come together.
    The trio hopes that the positive message they bring is an encouragement to all who hear it.
    According to their publicist, The Girls Next Door truly believe that music is a gift from God and hope to be a blessing each time they share that gift with others.
