Slaughter and Autograph Beyond coming to Holyoke
For those 80’s and 90’s metal rock band fans, the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce is bringing you a chance to enjoy some of your favorite music. On Saturday, June 29 at the Phillips County Fairgrounds Bank of Colorado Pavillion, Slaughter and Autograph will take the stage to enterain both young and old fans.
The opening event will be Autograph Beyond and the Rockin the Plains 2024 headliner, Slaughter. Their platinum songs include “Fly to the Angels” and “Up all Night.” After the show, MJ Entertainment will be carrying on the musical entertainment until midnight.
This concert is a first for the Holyoke Chamber of Commerce. “We started discussing a plan last July to bring more summer events to Holyoke and by October we had contracts booking the bands,” Executive Director Jessica Ayala said.
When the doors open at 4:30, there will be beer gardens and food trucks. To purchase or consume alcohol, ages 21+ must bring a valid ID. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Registration, for food trucks, is still available and those interested can contact the chamber for more details. Food trucks registered so far are: Tacos Locos, Brain Freeze, Stegers Pizza, Yeti Dog Smoothie Shack and Hearth Wood Fired Pizza. Food truck registration is $100 and there are no electrical hookups available. All trucks will have to bring generators.
“We are excited about the event but it would not have been possible except for our area sponsors. Our Platinum Sponsors are: S&W Auto in Holyoke, Economy Tire and Lube in Holyoke, Spelts Roofing Company in Haxtun, and Anchor Roofing and Solar in Johnstown,” Jessica Alaya said. “We will also have a final list of all gold and silver sponsors to be published soon.”
Daytime events at the Phillips County Fairgrounds will also include a car show and valve cover races, these will be free admission for those that would like to enjoy the entire day in Holyoke.
