Sen. Ibach speaking in Wauneta Tuesday

State Sen. Teresa Ibach will be speaking in Wauneta Tuesday night as a guest at the Chase County GOP bi-monthly meeting.
Chase County GOP Chair Tim Poore said the public is invited to the 6 p.m. MT meeting in the Wauneta Senior Center.
Ibach, who completed her first Unicameral session this year, will discuss recent legislative action regarding bills passed and others pending. Her address will be followed with a question and answer session, Poore said.
Poore and his wife Tracy of Elsie live in the northeast corner of Chase County. They coordinated the reorganization of the Chase County GOP in 2020. The Poores moved to Chase County in 2006.
Poore said he wants the GOP to include more members, adding they will be making a presence in the county in the coming weeks at several events.
Chase County GOP will have a float in the Wauneta Harvest Fest parade the end of July and have a booth planned at the Chase County Fair in August.
They’ll also have a float in the Chase County Fair parade, he said.
The Chase County GOP meets every other month on the third Tuesday, alternating between Wauneta and Imperial meeting sites.
People interested can learn more on the Chase County GOP Facebook page, he said.
