Nebraska Angus royalty crowned

On Dec. 2, 2023, the Nebraska Angus Auxiliary and the Nebraska Angus Association hosted the Nebraska Angus royalty contest at the Younes Convention Center in Kearney, Nebraska. During the event, the morning included a brunch, great social networking, and beautiful decorations. The event was headed by our Nebraska Angus Auxiliary queen chairwoman Kourtney Tarnick with the help of Nebraska Angus Secretary/Manager Margo Lehn.
This year there were two contestants. Of those contestants running for princess was McKinley Stoller of Palisade, and for queen was Addi Crouse of Belgrade. During the contest the contestants took part in an interview, and performed a presentation on why they wanted to be the next Nebraska Angus queen or princess. This year’s judges were Emilee Hoffschneider of Minden and James Felt of Wakefield.
During the banquet later that evening in front of the entire Nebraska Angus Association membership, Addi Crouse was crowned queen and Mckinley Stoller as princess.  As queen Addi was awarded a belt buckle, rose bouquet, travel bag, crown, sash, crown pin, and a $1,000 travel award. For princess Mckinley was awarded a belt buckle, rose bouquet, travel bag, crown, sash, and crown pin.
