Music recital held Sunday

On April 11 parents, grandparents and friends enjoyed “Ms Phyllis Mock’s” students performing in their spring recital. “The Star Spangled Banner,” played by Jason Fortkamp, led the way.
Piano students are Fortkamp, Avery Jantz, Hunter and Oliver Greene, Anna Maris, Hayden, Hadley and Henley Worth.
Guitar students are Edisyn Teply and Andy Jantz.
Some of the selections played were “Silent Movie Music,” “Dance of the Swans,” “Old McDonald,” “Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam,” “Jesus Loves Me,” “Simple Gifts,” “Catch a Falling Star,” “Little Brown Jug,” “I Walk the Line” and “Turkey in the Straw.”
Other students are Chloe Dittler, Jayme Gittlien, Tilly Foote and Tate Hammerlun. A cookie and ice cream reception topped off the afternoon.
Mock said the students are showing great progress.
