Penelope, whose real name is Penelope Scarlett Fratelli, will perform seven free shows at the Chase County Fair next week. She hails from Omaha.

Multi-talented entertainer has Chase County Fair on her schedule

Thanks to her many talents and bubbly personality, Penelope Scarlett Fratelli, or Poppin’ Penelope, is one of the most desirable acts at fairs and festivals across the country.
Penelope will be at the Chase County Fair next week, giving seven free shows at the open air pavilion.
Fair board member Traci Space said she’ll also be strolling among the Wednesday afternoon Pepsi Fun Day activities in Allo Arena.
A cross between Harry Houdini and Lucille Ball, Penelope’s magic show is a unique experience.
Look up! She’s also one of the tallest stilt walkers you have ever seen, and her colorful costumes cannot be missed.
Hailing from Omaha, Penelope is well-known for her 1950s style, zany sense of humor and fearless magical performances. She is most proud of her unique ability to turn any situation into an awkward one, her publicist noted.
One of the top balloon artists in the world, Penelope has been a featured performer at the Iowa, North Carolina, Colorado and Oklahoma State Fairs, as well as the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and San Diego County Fair.
Penelope has been performing magic and stilt walking for 20 years.
She went to the UK to master her art, studying with the best magical minds in England. After two years of performing overseas, she returned to her hometown of Papillion, and has been an active member of the Omaha Magic Society for over a decade.
Penelope is a hypnotist and mentalist with certificates in hypnotism and neuro-linguistic programming, skills which have proved invaluable in perfecting her magic show.
Also an accomplished escape artist, she is one of the only female escape artists who has performed Houdini’s famous upside down straight jacket escape.
