Lightweight goes the distance in CCF Dog Keg Pull

Seven dogs did their best to make their owners proud at the Chase County Fair’s Dog Keg Pull Aug. 16.
Out of the seven competitors, lightweight Lola was the fastest to cross the finish line where she was met by owner Robert Estrada.
Other dogs taking part were heavyweights Amos Moses, owned by Jodi Spady, Ace and Duke with owner Tysen Lempke; and medium weights Archie, owned by Hailey Markee and trained by Lori Sis, and Bowser with owner Nick Barton.
Each dog was tasked with pulling a keg based on their weight across the Allo Arena dirt from a start to finish line. The dog with the fastest time was the winner in each division.
This year was the second for the event and saw several familiar faces from 2022.
