Governor’s appointments include Imperial man
As Gov. Pete Ricketts served his last days in office, he made a series of appointments to state boards, commissions and committees in a Dec. 29 announcement.
Among them was Tim May of Imperial, who was reappointed to the Nebraska Potato Development Committee. May is owner of Frenchman Valley Produce in Imperial.
Several other individuals from southwest Nebraska were appointed or reappointed to other state positions, as well, including:
Karen Bowlin, Ogallala, reappointed to Board of Emergency Medical Services
The three people below are new appointments:
Steven Stroup, Benkelman, Nebraska Brand Committee
Myra Stoney, McCook, Rural Health Advisory Commission
Daniel Stramel, McCook, Veterans Advisory Commission
