This is the impressive view of the corn maze from above, spelling out Halloween.

Good times had by all who attended Pumpkin Patch

    Even though the weather on Saturday was less than perfect and hampered the attendance of some, Sunday was a perfect day to get outside.
    Arlys Cupp said, “The eclipse was eerie and cast strange shadows on things Saturday morning.”
    In the scarecrow contest Charlee Spickelmeier took first place with their Showman Charlee display in the childrens division while Waycee Spickelmeier got second with the monster display.
    Showman Charlee was also the overall winner of the contest.
    In the adult division Donna June Ekart was first with her Ring-around-the-Rosie display. Kayla Holmes took second with I. M. Friendly, third was Kayla Holmes with Bessie, fourth was Dustin Holmes with Dusty, fifth went to Asia Ostus with Iron Man and Tiffany Harris was sixth.
    In the guess the weight of the pumpkin contest, Avery Lakey was the closest guess for the 175 pound pumpkin, winning the pumpkin and $25.
    It was a good crowd on Sunday with the perfect weather.
    The annual corn maze that was cut into the adjacent cornfield spelled out Halloween from above.
