Gittlein, Loomis to compete in APA pool championships

    The McCook area APA Pool Leagues will be well represented in the upcoming APA Poolplayer Championships, held annually in April at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino.
    Jeremy Loomis of Hayes Center and Brady Gittlein of Wauneta will team up in the 9-Ball Doubles Championship.
    Kevin Owens from Curtis will compete in the 8-Ball Classic Singles Championship, and Ryan Lukas from McCook will play in the 9-Ball Shootout Singles Championship.
    Players that earn a spot in the APA Poolplayer Championships compete against others at or near their own skill level on over 300 pool tables and for a share of over $800,000 in cash and prizes.
    Players also enjoy a generous travel allowance and complimentary lodging at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, site of the APA Championship events.
