Enders Lake ‘Haunted Camping’ events could scare up some fun
Staff at Enders Lake Recreation Area are hosting a “Haunted Camping” event Oct. 29, 30 and 31 at the area “A” campground.
Events planned over the three days will begin with a Haunted Trail on Friday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Campers are invited to decorate their campsites for a contest where the winner will be awarded a prize on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday nights, games will be set up from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Haunted Trail will once again be available Saturday and Sunday nights from 5 to 10 p.m.
From 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday there will be an adult and kids pumpkin carving contest.
Costumes are encouraged to be worn by all during the Halloween weekend.
A costume contest for kids, pets and adults will award prizes at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31.
The Halloween camping event will require a Nebraska park entry permit on all vehicles that enter the area.
Winter rates will be applied to campers at $25 for electrical sites and $10 for primitive sites.
