Christmas light display worth the drive

One activity COVID-19 can’t cancel is the appreciation of Christmas light displays. There is definitely one display in the area worth the drive, about four miles southwest of Elsie. The holiday effort of Terry and Cori Sis features nearly 140,000 lights that make up multiple displays like the two shown here. The family says they usually start setting up in October and multiple family members help out. They estimate it takes 120 man hours to set up and another 40 hours to take them down for storage. Despite the work, Terry Sis said this year, especially, was not the year to take a break with the pandemic going on. And, “How else would you celebrate the most important birthday in the history of mankind?” he asked. The physical address of the display is 34430 Road 757.
