CC Extension hosts Garden Gathering program Nov. 9

Gardens and landscapes are going to wrap up for the growing season soon. Do you have questions about diseases, insects, and problems that we experienced this year? Do you have questions for next year’s garden? Join us for the “Garden Gathering” at 6:30 p.m. MT, Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Chase County Extension Office, 490 East 5th, in Imperial.
This free program will be a relaxed roundtable update on observations from this growing season’s insect pests, diseases, disorders and what flourished in the garden and landscape. Recommendations for next year’s growing season will also be reviewed to address the problems. Everyone is welcome to ask questions they have as well to encourage a fun discussion for the evening.
While this program is free of charge, please call the Nebraska Extension Office in Chase County at 308-882-4731 to ensure there are enough publications and resources for everyone who attends the program. If anyone has questions about the “Garden Gathering” program, please send an e-mail message to dlott2@unl.edu for further information.
