Area students earn college, university degrees

    Students from the Chase County area are earning post-secondary degrees from college and universities. Here is a recap of some of the area’s recent graduates.
Ally Jablonski
    Ally Jablonski earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center earlier this month.
    The 2006 graduate of St. Francis  (Kansas) Community High School received a BS degree in Nursing from UNMC in Kearney in 2011, then earned her recent degree after starting study on it in the fall of 2019. In between, she worked as a Registered Nurse.
    She will take her boards in June and will join Chase County Community Hospital and Clinics Oct. 1 as a Nurse Practitioner.
    She and husband Lucas Jablonski live in Imperial and have two daughters, Saylor, 3, and Holland, 9 months. Her parents are Ronee and Brent Kruger of Imperial.
Rose Sullivan
    Taking part in Friday’s commencement ceremonies at the University of Nebraska-Kearney was Rose Sullivan of Imperial, who earned an M.S-Ed. degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
    She earned her B.S.-Ed. degree in 2021, also from UNK, after graduating from Chase County Schools in 2017.
    She has accepted a position as speech language pathologist for ESU 10, based in Kearney, and will serve school districts in that region.
    Her parents are Bill and Marianne Sullivan of Imperial.
Adelaide Maxwell
    Adelaide Maxwell received a BA degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Commencement exercises were held Friday.
    She has accepted a third grade teaching position at Chase County Schools for the 2023-24 school year.
    The 2019 graduate of CCS is the daughter of Matt and Rachel Maxwell of Imperial.
