Yoder claims ELGC Men’s Club Open

    Beau Yoder shot a 67 to take the Mens’ Club Open Handicap Tournament played Sunday at the Enders Lake Golf Course.
    Yoder shot rounds of 43 and 44 with a handicap of 20 strokes.
    Don Lawler took second place at three strokes back, after rounds of 42 and 44 with a 16 stroke handicap.
    On his heels was Trevor Amen who finished third with a score of 71.
    The top of the leader board was packed. After Yoder, 11 golfers finished within six strokes of each other.
    Matt Klima was the front 9 medalist with a score of 38, while Joe Humphrey was the back 9 medalist with a score of 36.
    The 18-hole tourney was open to members with an established USGA handicap.
    After two rounds of golf, scores were adjusted for the golfer’s course handicap.
    Results of the tournament follow with the top placings showing the 18-hole score minus the handicap for the net score.
