Two weeks remain in peewee season

The Imperial peewee teams have their noses to the grindstone as the end of the season approaches.

Imperial 1 added a second close win Friday at home over Hershey.

A second Moreno triple in the second inning set him up to score another Imperial 1 run and third inning singles by Evan O’Neil and Rau helped increase Imperial 1’s lead to 7-3
Hershey scored one run in each of the final innings, but Imperial 1 took a 7-5 six-inning win.
Rau, Braxton Chubb and Oxford pitched in the win. Together they struck out 10 batters, walked seven and allowed six hits.

Imperial 1’s offense stayed quiet until Mireles scored in the fourth inning and Miscles crossed home plate in the fifth.
Ogallala 2 had a huge fifth inning to seal Imperial 2’s loss.
