Still room for one team at Slice Fore Life

There’s still room for one more team for Saturday’s Slice Fore Life Golf Event to support the Chase County Hospital Foundation.
Shawn Jaeger, Foundation & Marketing Coordinator for the hospital, said Tuesday they had 17 teams registered, and there’s room for one more to hit the goal of 18 teams.
Enders Lake Golf Course will host Saturday’s 4-Person Best Ball Scramble. Registrations starts at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Not only will teams be shooting to win the tournament. There are also a number of other perks to being part of the event, Jaeger said.
Most notably are the three Hole-in-One opportunities that, if successful, can win the golfer a 2023 Chevy 4x4 pickup from Wolf Auto of Imperial, $5,000 from Imperial Country Ford or a Pebble Beach golf vacation for two sponsored by McNair Agency.
On other holes, the golfer closest to the pin will win a range finder sponsored by Pinnacle Bank or a massage gun for longest drive sponsored by Wauneta Crossroads.
Participants will enjoy breakfast burritos courtesy of ELGC, t-shirts sponsored by Waypoint Bank, goodie bags and koozies from Allo Fiber, golf tees from Imperial Family Dental Center, margaritas from Credit Management, lunch courtesy of Beard Trucking, along with flag and flight prizes.
Those at the tourney have the chance to buy raffle tickets for a Pit Boss Sportsman pellet grill, as well. People not in the tourney can also buy tickets by contacting Jaeger at the hospital, 308-882-7290.
Jaeger said Slice Fore Life is the foundation’s largest event fundraiser of the year.
It’s been an annual event since 2008.
