RPAC approves expansion

    Members of the Republican Plains Activities Conference have approved the additions of Sutherland, Elwood and Eustis-Farnam to the conference.
    At their meeting April 19, the RPAC Executive Committee unanimously approved the three schools’ admission beginning in the 2024-2025 school year.
    With Elwood and Eustis-Farnam’s athletic cooperative agreement, Hi-Line, there will be 18 schools and 16 teams competing in the conferences.
    The SPVA Conference, which Sutherland currently competes in, also includes Kimball, Bridgeport, Perkins County, Chase County, Hershey and North Platte St. Pat’s.
    Elwood and Eustis-Farnam are members of the Fort Kearny Conference, that also includes Amherst, Ansley, Axtell, Elm Creek, Litchfield, Loomis, Overton, Pleasanton, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller and Wilcox-Hildreth.
