Nebraska High School State Football Playoffs wrapping up

    It is down to the semi-finals in the Nebraska State Football playoffs. All of the number one seeded teams remain except in class D2.
    Previously undefeated Johnson Brock sat in the #1 seed but got beat soundly by #8 seed, Sandhills/Thedford 60-28.
    The #3 seed, Dundy County also got upset in the bottom half of the D2 bracket, losing to #11 Howells-Dodge 36-28.
    In the semi-finals of D2 it will be #8 seed Sandhills/Thedford (9-1) against #4 seed South Loop (10-0). On the bottom of the bracket will be #11 Howells-Dodge (8-2) against #2 Wynot (10-0).
    In class A, #1 Omaha Westside (11-0) will face #5 Millard West (9-2) and #3 Elkhorn South (10-1) faces #2 Millard South (10-1).
    Class B has #1 Bennington (11-0) against #5 Elkhorn North (10-1) and #3 Omaha Skutt Catholic (10-1) against #2 Waverly (11-0).
    Class C1 has #1 Wahoo (11-0) against #4 Sidney (10-1) and #3 Ashland-Greenwood (10-1) against #2 Boone Central (11-0).
    In C2 #1 Norfolk Catholic (11-0) takes on #4 Fillmore Central (11-0) and #3 Ord (9-2) against #10 Yutan (9-2) who upset #2 Oakland-Craig 28-6 in the last round.
    In D1, #1 Stanton (10-0) faces #5 Sandy Creek (10-0) and #3 Crofton (10-0) against #7 EMF (9-1) who is coming off an upset of previously undefeated #2 N.P. St. Pats, 44-28.
    D6 has #1 Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (10-0) taking on #5 Wilcox-Hildreth (9-1) and #6 ParkviewChristian (8-2) against #7 Hay Springs (7-3).
    All the semi-final games will be this Friday Nov. 10 and the finals at Memorial Stadium will start Friday Nov. 17 with the D6 championship.
    On Monday, Nov. 20 it will be Class D1 followed by D2 and conclude with class B.
    Tuesday the finals will finish up with classes C1, C2 and
