Lady Broncos take down South Platte with clean sweep

    Friday night saw the South Platte Blue Knights come to Wauneta to face the Lady Broncos.
    The Broncos had a back and forth first set that stayed close to the end but the Broncos hung on for the 25-22 win.
    The Broncos kept the momentum rolling in the second set winning with a score of 25-10.
    In the third set the Blue Knights tried to rally back but came up short losing 25-20.
    That brings Wauneta-Palisade’s record to 2-3.
Next action
    The Broncos will travel to Atwood Kansas on Thursday, Sept. 7 for a triangular with  St. Francis and Rawlins County. Games will start at 3 p.m. MT.
